Candidates that fulfil the following criteria are eligible to apply.
The EU FP7 definition of “transnational mobility”
For non‐residents of the host institution country.
Researchers from any nationality can apply.
For residents of a Member State or Associated Country.
Mobility is from a EU Member State or Associated Country to a Third Country (with a preferably return phase to either a EU Member State or Associated Country).
Only EU Member State or Associated Country nationals that have carried out research in a Third Country for at least 3 years.
The mobility is from a Third Country to a either EU Member State or Associated Country.
In all cases, candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the host institution country for more than 12 months in the years 3 years prior to deadline for the submission of proposals.
The EU F7 definition of “Experienced Researchers”
The candidate must, at the time of the recruitment by the Host Organization, either:
- Be in possession of a doctoral degree; or
- Have at least four years of research experience (full-time equivalent) since gaining a university diploma giving him/her access to doctoral studies either in the country in which the degree/diploma was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided.
Prior the offer of the award, it is mandatory that the selected candidates provide official evidences of their compliance with the education and experience requirements.
